Hosteria Al Vecio Bragosso

The Ostaria al Vecio Bragosso takes its name from the typical boat which was used by fishermen until shortly after the war, called a “bragosso”.

Furnishings are in typically seafaring style and make for a hospitable and cosy atmosphere. The restaurant is comprised of two dining rooms indoors and a terrace outside in Strada Nuova, a road which connects the railway station to Rialto.

The Ostaria proposes tasty, startling dishes where fish takes pride of place. The fish arrives directly from the fish market in Chioggia and is really fresh. Amazing dishes are created and despite retaining strong ties with tradition, they have been updated by means of successful forays into modern cooking.

The service is coordinated by the owners Carlo Agostini and Giuliano Bacci, and is carried out by the cordial, multi-lingual staff, who are always ready to satisfy customers’ requests.
