Whole-wheat spaghetti with an anchovy sauce

Simmer the onions in a little water for 15 minutes.

Add the anchovy pieces, oil and pepper, then cook for another 10 minutes.

Cook the pasta for 12 minutes, then drain and sauté it with the sauce.

Wait at least 5 minutes before serving (it should be eaten warm).

  • 350 g bigoli mori (thick whole-wheat spaghetti)
  • 200 g salted anchovies (boned and cleaned)
  • 500 g white onions
  • sunflower oil
  • salt and pepper
